Spring Cleaning Giveaways [CLOSED]

*Latest Update*

The winners are as follows:❅ t.cBecky H (Mei)Lavina, lastcross, and capricesofirene

Names were drawn by Excel’s randbetween(1,n) function. Thank (or blame) the computer 😀 For example, 2 Canadians were drawn. I should’ve known the Canadians were onto something…

Emails have been sent to the winners. Check your inbox and respond. Thnx

My eternal problem: too many things with too little room.

I’m doing a combination of selling and donating of the extra books I don’t want anymore (or don’t want enough to compete for shelf space). I have a few T7 items that I guess would be more appropriate to give to my cnovel readers rather than at the local Goodwill. These are free and will ship for free.

If you’re a friend of the blog (meaning you’ve commented before), reside in the 48 contiguous states, and would be better owners to these books than I am, then please leave a comment with a valid email in the email field and I will draw names (by next week’s MGQ update). Mention if you’re interested in the Chinese books, Viet books, or both. I’d rather the Viet novels go to someone who can actually read Viet so if you want those, leave your comment in Viet.

1: 3L3W 10 Miles of Peach Blossom artbook, Chinese

2: 3L3W Pillow Book artbook, Chinese

3: Huaxu Yin artbook, Chinese

4: 3L3W 10 Miles of Peach Blossom artbook + bookmarks, Viet version

5: 3L3W Pillow Book, the complete novel (1, 2A, 2B) + bookmarks and posters, Viet version

6: Huaxu Yin, the complete novel + bookmarks and poster, Viet version

  1. Nice. Would have been better if I can read either language, but i dont so its better to give that to someone who can actually read em. Good luck to them. ^^ Hopefully, everyone actually wins.

  2. I like to draw n would also be interested in the chinese art book. these books will be good for reference. Since becoming a fellow c-novel reader I have been inspired to draw chinese themed drawings, sometimes even fanarts of what I think the characters of a book would look like.

  3. thanks!
wow, artbook—-! nice—! and those novels too! ooh—! i live too far away though, ahaha!
as some of the previous commenters have said, congratulations to those who get them!

  4. I’m super interested in 3L3W Pillow Book artbook, Chinese, or any of the artbooks really. Would obviously love the sets that come with posters and bookmarks, but as I don’t read viet, I hope someone far luckier can use them well.

  5. Wow that’s really nice of you! I can’t read Chinese nor Vietnamese and I haven’t commented before, so I’ll pass on being entered into the drawing. I just wanted to say thanks so much for all the hardwork you do translating! I’ve become a big fan of Mei Gongqing.😊 I know I haven’t commented before but I really appreciate the time and effort you put into bringing us the novel on a regular basis, even when you probably have a lot of other obligations going on. And it’s very generous of you to give away parts of your collection and pay for the shipping. Thank you! 😁💙 Good Luck to everyone else~

  6. Hi Hamster! Your translation of “Sansheng, Death Exists Not at the River of Oblivion” was one of my first forays into the wonderful world of cnovels and from there to a quick devouring of all your other translation projects. Please include me in your drawing for #1 and #2! I’d be extremely excited to get one of those items! Thank you for offering this drawing!

  8. I got into Chinese novels because of T7’s novels, and it’s so heartbreaking knowing about the whole plagiarizing thing. 3L3W was my first translated novel since I never learned how to read Chinese. I really still love those two books tho. I love how intense the first chapter was. That was what made me so addicted to Chinese novels. I’m very interested in the art books. Thank you for translating the books!

  15. I just finish the 3L3W 10 miles of peach blossom and I loved that book so much! I am interested in any of the Chinese novel!Although i can read it online but it’s the feeling of holding the actual book and reading it that I’m looking for( sorry for sounding like a freak ). Also Sorry that I haven’t comment before because I’m not the type who likes to comment. I would like to thank you for the translations, it’s a new experience for me to read c novels in English, it really helps to improve my English. Thank you again!

  16. Your post reminded me I need to do some spring cleaning too… my folder is filled with chemistry and writing materials lol. I’ll passed on books even though they are lovely because my drawer for my desk needs cleaning as well.. maybe I should wait until summer hits, hehe. Goodluck everyone~

  17. I didn’t know about this raffle before but I absolutely love the art for all of these novels and was wondering if you had titles or links to any place that sold them…? I’m a huge fan of Ibuko Satsuki, too, but can only support her from afar… Since I’ve never seen any of her artbooks or manhua sold in taobao, which confuses me greatly ;;

  18. Hamster, just want to say you are so sweet!!! Free giveaway and free shipping, just what an awesome heart you have for us readers. Thank you for all the translations and time.
